Hive Counselling operates virtually in Ontario and British Columbia. In Ontario, Hive operates on the territory of the Huron-Wendat and Petun First Nations, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit River. The territory was the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy and Confederacy of the Ojibwe and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. Hive is part of the Non-Insured Health Benefit (NIHB) providing services to First Nations with status in Ontario. In British Columbia, Hive operates on the stolen territory of the Syilx Okanagan people. Hive is honoured to be a service provider part of the First Nations Health Authority.
